QuadraBloc™ Application QuadraBloc™ application techniques were evolved very systematically through careful scientific methods. A selective tissue conductance device (the “Episcan™” an instrument to detect abnormal nerve firing in the skin) was used in most of QuadraBloc™ device placement determinations. After the locations were determined for a particular pain syndrome, thousand of patients were treated to confirm the exact point of placement. When the devices are in the proper location, the relief of pain comes, in most cases, within seconds to just a few minutes. In most pain syndromes, it is not necessary to use an Episcan™ type device although the Episcan™ was used initially to help determine the placement of the devices for a particular pain problem.
