The profits from the top ten drug companies in the Fortune 500 are more than the profits for all the other 490 businesses put together. It is generally accepted by professional sales representatives that the most lucrative jobs are with these drug companies. Prescription pain medications are some of the most abused drugs in our society. Studies show that a survey of 8th, 10th, and 12th-graders found that 9.3 percent of 12th-graders reported using Vicodin without a prescription in the past year, and 5.0 percent reported using OxyContin making these medications among the most commonly abused prescription drugs by adolescents. Many doctors are reluctant to prescribe these drugs do to the abuse and potential damage to their reputations if the drugs make it onto the street. Non-addicting alternative pain management products like magnets are a great option to help deal with these serious issues.
